Trempealeau County supervisors certify open-meeting notice, approve agenda and minutes

A reading of the official meeting notice followed. The clerk read a letter stating the board "will meet at 7PM on 09/15/2025 in the County Boardroom" and that "all county board members' claims are due in the county clerk's office by noon on 09/05/2025 so they can be prepared for audit committee approval," signed, "Mary Martin, county clerk." The clerk led roll call; later in the session the chair recorded the count as "15 to 2" and noted two members were absent.
When the chair asked for approval of the agenda a supervisor moved to approve and the motion was seconded; the chair called for ayes and several supervisors responded. The chair then sought approval of the minutes from Aug. 2, 2025. Motion by Supervisor Nutter, seconded by Supervisor Anderson, to approve the minutes carried on a voice vote with ayes recorded.
The meeting proceeded to appearances and the day's presentations after completing the procedural items. No formal dissent or amendments to the agenda or minutes were recorded in the transcript.
