Webb told the board there is an approximate $250,000 shortfall in the project budget; staff will file a supplemental USDA application and seek other grant avenues.
Webb also said a previously anticipated donation of pipe material will not be available because the supplier is prioritizing disaster response elsewhere; she said staff will seek discounted supply options through local distributors and work with project consultants to find savings.
