Speaker 10 moved to award the bid, speaker 15 seconded, and the board approved the award. The playground will be paid from remaining Franklin Elementary bond funds from 2019, the board was told.
The board heard that four contractors bid the culinary arts work and that supply issues had delayed some hardware items on other projects; no member requested a roll-call tally at the meeting.
