The board heard that Viking Glass may need to replace a door that cannot be retrofitted and that New Vision Security and other vendors were expected to submit quotes.
Board members decided to table a final purchase decision until staff can gather a more workable quote and present it at the next meeting. The board emphasized the need for the buzzer to alert the main office — not the portable — to avoid classroom disruptions.
