Branchburg schools coordinate support after Red Rock Preserve fire; PTO fundraising tops $17,000

During public comment, Laura Foley of the Branchburg PTO said community fundraising for the affected families had reached approximately $17,000 by mid‑day and encouraged donors to coordinate through the PTO to provide gift cards and other immediate needs. The superintendent said the district will work with the Red Cross and local guidance staff to connect families to services and distribute aid announced by the PTO.
Board members and staff emphasized the community response and asked residents to contact the PTO or district offices to offer assistance.
