Officials said Govolution provided equipment and the county could transition within about 7–10 days if the court approved the change that day.
The motion to terminate the existing contract and implement the new agreement was made, seconded and approved by voice vote. The court recorded no opposition on the record.
Implementation note: staff said the current system remains available and the county can revert to it if necessary during the transition; the tax office will coordinate the vendor switch and monitor customer service impacts.
