Brewster County approves purchase of 2025 Ford Interceptor for EMS coordinator

"[I] moved to approve the buying of a vehicle for EMS Coordinator Hutchison but while also looking into other avenues," Henington said.
Commissioners Ruben Ortega and William "Mo" Morrow suggested alternatives, including local repair or a different vehicle that might be more suitable. The court indicated funding for the purchase would come from LATCF. Commissioner Morrow seconded Henington’s motion; the motion passed 5-0.
Next steps: the court approved the purchase and asked staff to continue assessing repair options and vehicle suitability; no additional funding details or vendor contract numbers were provided during the meeting.
