On enrollment, Beacoats said kindergarten registration for the 2026–27 school year is open through March 31 and that children must have turned 5 by Sept. 1, 2026 to qualify. He listed two in-person registration events: March 18 (4–6 p.m.) at the District Administration Building and March 26 (4:30–6 p.m.) at Penwood Middle School.

Beacoats announced the district will be closed Friday, March 20 for the holiday and that spring recess runs March 30–April 3, when buildings and offices will be closed.
"This month, we're giving out four $25 gift cards to our staff as a token of our appreciation," Beacoats said, and later named the winners: Taylor Young (Pinwood Middle School); Joanna Sumner (business office); Michelle Slavin (Artmore Avenue Elementary School); and Kalyn Spearman (Pinwood High School). He thanked third‑grade students Essence and Emiah for helping to select the winners.
The video closed with Beacoats thanking viewers and reminding them that the next Wednesday Word will appear in about two weeks.
