The Anna Community Development Corporation and Economic Development Corporation voted Feb. 5 to approve a first amended ground lease that gives GTP Food Group LLC a one-time, six-month extension to its building-permit deadline.
Staff member Natasha Roach told the board the restaurant group did not pull the required building permit by the Dec. 31 deadline. "They did not. Therefore, we've granted them a 1 time extension of 6 months," Roach said, and indicated the revised deadline moves from Dec. 31, 2027, to June 2028.
Board members asked for the new end date and Roach provided the June 2028 target. Chair called for a motion to approve the amended ground lease; a member moved, it was seconded and the board approved the resolution by voice vote.
The vote was recorded as a voice approval and the board did not provide a roll-call tally in the public record. The action was taken under agenda item 5a.
