District staff recommended approving a two-year contract extension with Go 4 Health Care LLC for athletic trainer services to provide continuity for students and coaches and to lock the contract rate for the 2026–27 and 2027–28 school years.
The administrator said the district hired an athletic trainer (Devin) during the prior year but had staffing changes; replacements and subcontracted coverage have filled most events since. "The recommendation would be that we continue our relationship with GoForum and sign a 2 year contract with your people," the administrator said.
Committee members asked whether the district would be credited when a trainer is not provided; staff said the district would not be invoiced for periods without coverage. Members also discussed whether the contract could supply a trainer to travel with the team to away events; staff said that is likely feasible but would require advance notice and planning to account for travel time and costs.
No formal vote was recorded in the committee; staff will present contract documents for board consideration.
