At its Feb. 25 meeting the Saco School Committee recorded a series of routine motions and roll-call votes. Key outcomes:
• Approval of minutes: The board approved the Feb. 11, 2026 meeting minutes; roll call vote 6–0 (one member absent).
• Personnel hire: The board approved the nomination of Michael Genaco as districtwide BCBA with a contract for the remainder of the 2025–26 school year. Motion made by School Board Member Truman; second recorded; roll call 6–0.
• Resignation accepted: The board accepted the resignation of Rebecca Clark, CK Burns special education teacher, effective March 6, 2026. Motion made by School Board Member Truman; second recorded; roll call 6–0.
• Policy first reading: The board approved the first reading of multiple policies (BIA; BIB; BIC; BID; CB and CB‑R (superintendent job description); CC; BHC; and BIC‑E, Certification of Completion of Freedom of Access Training). Motion to approve first reading made by School Board Member Johnston and seconded by School Board Member Truman; roll call 6–0.
Meeting adjournment was approved by roll call, 6–0, at 5:26 p.m.
