The Maple Valley City Council unanimously approved the Nov. 24 consent calendar, which included financial approvals, ordinance and resolution items, and contract amendments.
The consent package included approval of vendor and benefit checks and transfers totaling $2,248,502.21; Ordinance No. O-25-867 amending sections of Title 18 related to cb zones abutting residential zones and uses in pro and nb zones; Resolution No. R-25-2022 authorizing a King County Parks Capital and Open Space Program grant award agreement for 2025; a one-year lease extension with the South King County Food Coalition (Elk Run Farm) under R-25-2023; and a series of additional contract and interlocal agreement amendments (R-25-2024 through R-25-2029) including public arts procurement and construction management services amendments.
Councilmember Didem Pierson moved to approve the consent calendar and Councilmember John Herbert seconded; the motion carried 6-0. Individual items listed on the consent calendar will follow their normal administrative implementation steps.
