Pacific council workshop forwards three items to Jan. 26 meeting; leaders thank flood volunteers

During the Good of the Order portion of the workshop, Mayor Kave thanked council members for their participation in a recent flood event. Council Member Petersen expressed appreciation for the mayor’s immediate response and cited his expertise and background. Council President Kerry Garberding thanked residents and volunteers who helped during the flooding, and Mayor Pro Tem Putnam suggested that council members complete FEMA emergency-response training.
No votes or formal motions with recorded tallies appear in the workshop minutes for the items forwarded; each item is described as forwarded by consensus to the Jan. 26 meeting. The workshop was called to order at 8:01 p.m. and adjourned at 8:36 p.m.
