Mayor Kave called the Dec. 8, 2025, regular meeting of the Pacific City Council to order at 6:00 p.m. and led the Pledge of Allegiance. The council completed roll call and approved the meeting agenda.
The council administered the Oath of Office to Kerry Garberding (Position No. 2), Ray Helms (Position No. 4), Stacey Jackson (Position No. 6) and Eric Petersen (Position No. 7). No debate or objections were recorded during the oath proceedings.
Following the oath, the council moved to regular business. Staff and committee reports covered transportation board activity, a possible flood situation and project updates for Ellingson Road and West Valley Highway. A community member, Danielle Roberts Gomez of Algona, provided information about a New Little Free Library dedication scheduled for Dec. 20 at Matchett Memorial Park.
The council adjourned at 6:59 p.m.
