The Albia City Council on Oct. 3 accepted a $227,925 low bid from KLC Construction of Corydon to perform spot repairs and replacements on the city’s west trunk sewer line and approved a financing plan to secure repayment of a USDA Rural Development loan and provide interim financing for the project.
The recommendation came from Matt Walker of Garden & Associates, who reviewed the bid tabulation and recommended the KLC Construction low bid. Scott Kelly moved to accept the bid and Merle Regenold seconded; the motion carried 4-0.
