Carlsbad Senior Commission approves April 4 minutes, adjourns to Parks and Recreation tour

At its May 2 meeting the Carlsbad Senior Commission approved the minutes of its April 4 meeting unanimously, heard no presentations or public comment, and adjourned to a joint Parks and Recreation Commission tour.
The Carlsbad Senior Commission convened May 2 and called the meeting to order. The Chair announced a quorum was present and asked Commissioner Fitzpatrick to lead the Pledge of Allegiance.
After routine roll call, a motion was made to approve the minutes of the April 4 meeting. The motion was seconded and the commission voted to approve the minutes. “The minutes of the April 4 meeting are unanimously approved,” the Chair stated.
There were no presentations at this meeting, the Clerk reported, and the Chair noted that there were no public hearings or public comments. The Chair also reviewed Brown Act provisions allowing public comment on items not on the agenda.
With no further business, the Chair adjourned the Senior Commission and the members proceeded to the Parks and Recreation Commission tour.
The commission took no additional formal actions during the meeting and did not hear substantive presentations or public testimony.
