In a brief report out from closed session, the City Attorney informed the City Council that the council accepted a signed settlement offer in the amount of $115,000 in Lisa Castro v. City of San Diego (San Diego Superior Court case No. 37202355625).
"The city council voted on closed session item number 1...to accept a signed settlement offer in the amount of $115,000," the City Attorney said at the end of the meeting. The City Attorney reported the motion passed "7 to 0 with council members LaCava and Moreno absent."
The council did not take additional public action on the item during open session; the attorney's report closed the matter for the record.
