Board hears pitch for 'Shine and Inspire' student closets and gets update on superintendent search

Separately, the chair updated the public on the superintendent search: the board received 21 applications, met to review them and selected candidates for first-round interviews. "We are moving forward with looking for our next permanent superintendent," the chair said, and the board will schedule interviews as the next step.
