Rocketship Delta Prep leaders presented a five‑year renewal petition (July 1, 2026–June 30, 2031) and described student growth, family engagement, home visits and supports such as a Care Corps coordinator. Dozens of parents and current and former students spoke in favor of renewal, citing small classes, family partnership and personalized supports; several young students described how the schools helped them learn English, read and gain confidence.
Board members closed both hearings and confirmed that formal renewal votes were not scheduled for this meeting. Trustees asked staff to place renewals on a future agenda for action and thanked presenters and families for their testimony.
