A roll-call vote recorded affirmative votes from members present and the ordinance was declared finally approved.
In the same session the council approved Ordinance 18-2025, amending chapter 160 of the municipal code regarding Uniform Construction Code fees. The council opened the public portion for comment on the fee changes, heard no public remarks, and adopted the ordinance by roll call.
The meeting also moved and approved the consent agenda, which included routine items such as authorization to refund overpayments of 2025 property taxes on listed properties, and the tax collector’s cancellation of certain 2025 tax installments for a property on New York Avenue (Block 40, Lot 1). The council accepted a bill list totaling $1,497,482.30 by roll-call vote.
Council members who participated in roll-call votes answered affirmatively when prompted; no recorded no votes or formal abstentions were made on the two ordinances or the consent items.
