Allendale Land Use Board elects officers, reappoints counsel and planning professionals and adopts bylaws

The Allendale Land Use Board opened its first meeting of the year, elected its officers and completed routine housekeeping before moving to scheduled hearings.

Chair (speaker 1) called the meeting to order and confirmed that notice of the session was posted as required by the open public meetings act. The board then approved Resolution LUB 26-01 establishing the order of voting for the meeting.

The board voted to approve a single slate of officers — retaining the current chair, naming the vice chair as presented in the roll call and confirming the secretary — by motion and roll call. The board also reappointed legal counsel under Resolution LUD 26-05 and authorized the continued retention of the board engineer and the planner (LUB26-07, Burgess Associates/Ed Stikis as named in the record). The board adopted the 2026 meeting schedule as published by staff and approved the board’s bylaws and the Nov. 12, 2025 minutes.
