Pacific council releases retainage for water main project, approves consent agenda

The City of Pacific City Council voted unanimously on Oct. 13 to approve a retainage release for Reed Construction related to the Seattle & Cedar Water Main Replacement Project. Council Member Petersen moved approval of Resolution 2025-1008 (AB25-141), Council Member Putnam seconded, and the roll-call vote was 6-0 with Council Member Boles absent.
The council also approved the consent agenda—including claims and payroll vouchers, minutes from the Sept. 22 regular meeting and workshop, a Parks & Recreation department reorganization and job descriptions (MOU authorization), and a State of Washington unclaimed property resolution—by roll call vote 6-0. Council Member Katie Garberding moved to approve the consent agenda and Council Member Putnam seconded.
At the meeting’s start the council voted 6-0 to excuse Council Member Boles. No additional public testimony was recorded on the retainage or consent items.
