Scott, the city’s public services director, presented both infrastructure items at a 6:30 p.m. committee of the whole meeting and recommended the easement and the contract award. "We have 2 very easy items," he said, telling commissioners that the Alpine Estates easement had been reviewed by the city attorney and that Grand Rapids — which operates the pump station — had accepted some changes to the draft agreement.
