Summary
The board approved superintendent—s bulletin and addendum (items 1—45), which included authorization related to Littleton Phase 2. The secretary reported the low bidder came in at $5,900,000; an existing $3.7M purchase order will cover part of the cost and the district will seek county approval to withdraw the balance from capital reserve.

The Parsippany-Troy Hills Township School District Board of Education approved the superintendent's bulletin (items 1—27) and addendum (items 28—45) by roll-call vote on March 12. The approved package included agenda item 43, the Littleton Phase 2 recommendation.
The board—s secretary reported that bids for Littleton Phase 2 were opened on March 4 and the low bidder—s total (base bid plus alternatives) was $5,900,000, substantially below an earlier estimate of $9,000,000 that had appeared in committee materials. "There is an open purchase order for $3,700,000 in the current year, and the balance will be recommended to withdraw from capital reserve, but we have to receive approval from the county to do that," the secretary said.
Board members voted by roll call to approve the superintendent's bulletin and addendum; the clerk recorded unanimous "Yes" votes on the presented package. The motion to move to roll call was made by Mrs. Mayer and seconded by Mr. Shaw.
What happens next: the district will proceed with the contractor recommendation included in the approved consent package, subject to necessary administrative steps and county approval for the recommended capital-reserve withdrawal.
