Star council tables CIP impact-fees public hearing to April 7

The Star City Council on March 3 voted to table the scheduled public hearing on the Capital Improvement Plan and proposed development impact fees for parks, pathways and police until April 7.
The Chair said the item was being continued to give staff time to respond to a 16-page letter the city received on Friday from a private consultant (BCA). Councilwoman Salmonson moved to table the hearing to April 7; the motion was seconded by Councilman Wheelock and passed on a roll-call vote.
The council said they plan to review staff responses to the consultant letter before resuming the public hearing on the CIP and related impact fees.
