Commissioners asked about the condition and hour usage on the older unit; a commissioner noted many of the hours were accumulated when county crews assisted neighboring jurisdictions during a hurricane. The staff member said the purchase is partly grant-funded and recommended approval.
Commissioner Jones moved to approve the purchase; Commissioner Ellington seconded. The chair called the vote and the motion carried.
