Nevada City approved the purchase of a payroll/timekeeping module on July 24 to replace paper time sheets and move to electronic timekeeping.
Deputy City Clerk Britney explained the city’s manual payroll and timekeeping processes and asked the council to authorize purchase of the paychecks module to enable electronic timekeeping and scheduling. Councilmember Peterson moved to approve the contract; Councilmember Fleming seconded the motion and the council approved it by roll-call vote. The staff request specified a contract amount not to exceed $27,656.56 and authorized the city manager to execute related documents.
