The sheriff named Corrections Officer Madison Russell, Corrections Officer Blake Green, Sergeant David Stevenson and Lieutenant Damon Artavia for their quick intervention during an attempt and presented an accommodation award.
Commissioners and other attendees congratulated the staff. Sheriff Beckman also reminded listeners about the citizen portal for reporting service praise or concerns and summarized recent departmental activity (assisting other agencies, fire responses and prisoner transports).
