Dustin Brewer, the boys’ head coach, accepted the recognition and thanked the commission: “I just wanna say thank you to the Clay County Commission for this incredible honor.” Commissioners offered congratulatory remarks and invited team members and families to come forward for photos.
The resolution was presented as a ceremonial item; no budgetary or programmatic decisions were tied to the recognition.
