District staff highlighted several community-facing steps tied to the plan: Academy Park High School will host eighth-grade students in March for course-selection and orientation, the district has added an Onflow chat box on its website and a monthly community newsletter, it has created a parent advisory framework and opened a community food pantry, and it plans quarterly cultural celebrations and family events. The district said these items are intended to improve access and engagement across schools.
