The Grant County Planning & Zoning Board completed its annual reorganization at the Jan. 8, 2026 meeting, electing Robert Ternes as chair and Matt Hager as vice-chair.
P&Z Director Jason Albert opened the nominations for chair. Board member Matt Hager nominated Robert Ternes, and Bob Larson seconded the nomination. Barb Kraft moved to cease nominations; the board then voted unanimously to elect Ternes as chairman.
For vice-chair, Robert Ternes nominated Matt Hager and Brenden Becher seconded. Director Albert moved to cease nominations. The board voted unanimously to elect Hager as vice-chair.
Earlier in the meeting, the board approved the meeting agenda and the December minutes by unanimous votes. The meeting was adjourned at 10:19 a.m. MST. The board set its next regular meeting for Feb. 12, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. MST.
