JJ Tocek addressed the board to accept the recognition and thanked board members and staff. “I cannot do what I do… without the support of all of you sitting here, the individuals to either side of me, especially Associate Superintendent for Civic Engagement, Mr. Brad Jacobson,” Tocek said, adding that athletics and activities extend the classroom and support students’ on-time graduation. He closed his remarks by thanking the board and expressing support for Lincoln Public Schools athletics and activities.
