Assistant Highway Superintendent Dick DeWester told the Board on March 10 that the county will apply the Perma‑Zyme road product on March 25 and presented bid specifications for a new motor grader.
Commissioner Kurt Bernhardt moved to approve the bid specifications and to set opened bids for 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 24, 2026. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Jacci Brown and carried with all three commissioners voting yes (Muehlenkamp, Brown, Bernhardt).
The Board did not discuss financing details or preferred vendors at the March 10 meeting; DeWester provided specifications and the Board authorized the procurement process. The Perma‑Zyme application date was announced as part of the highway report.
Next steps: bids will be accepted according to the approved specifications and opened publicly at the March 24 bid opening.
