Supervisors approve minutes, claims and drainage bills; hear bridge and tree-collection updates

Under drainage claims the board approved $665.15 to Jacobson Westegard for labor on Drainage District 61 Branch 3, $1,960 to Jacobson Westergard for Drainage District Number 5 Branch 126 improvement (engineering), and $525 to the Goodwin Law Office. Each claim was moved, seconded and approved by recorded ayes.
In general discussion a supervisor reported that the county engineer said Lower Gar and A43 bridge projects are progressing on schedule, crediting recent good weather, and noted ongoing communications about trees collected at the regional collection center. The supervisor said county staff and the conservation board will continue coordinating with the landfill to determine best practices for the program.
Board members offered brief personal and committee reports: one described attending a local council meeting with strong youth attendance; another noted upcoming legislative and conference meetings. The meeting adjourned at 9:20 a.m.
