Staff reported three bidders and recommended UBC based on the company’s experience with portable buildings and associated site work. "They are definitely in their wheelhouse," staff said, explaining that UBC’s extensive portable-building work likely helped produce a lower bid.
A motion to approve the award to UBC was moved and seconded; the board approved the motion by unanimous vote. Staff indicated the district selected the lowest responsive bidder and will proceed with contract execution.
