La Mesa-Spring Valley board approves policy updates, safety-plan modifications and committee appointment

The La Mesa-Spring Valley School Board approved several routine and administrative items including policy updates, comprehensive school safety plans with two proposed modifications, updated authorized representatives for state program applications, and a Citizens Bond Oversight Committee appointment.

Staff presented two benign board policy updates covering charter school oversight and general obligation bonds; a board member moved to approve the updates and the board approved them by voice vote.
