Rachel Witt, executive director of the South Grand CID, told the committee the district maintains landscaping, irrigation, free parking and event space, and cited recent grants from the Missouri Department of Conservation and Ameren for intersection and lighting work.
Witt said the CID has supported streetscape maintenance and programming for nearly 20 years and that renewal enables continued capital and maintenance work. With no registered public opposition for the item, the committee moved and approved a due‑pass recommendation to the full Board of Aldermen.
