SBTA president urges support for Proposition 55 extension, thanks negotiators for tentative agreement

The president thanked the district’s bargaining team led by Dr. Doizan and highlighted collaboration with the California Teachers Association on the initiative. Board members and the superintendent acknowledged the union’s role and expressed appreciation for the ongoing partnership.
No formal board action on the ballot measure occurred at the meeting; Paschek Cox’s remarks were delivered during the public-comment/union-report portion of the agenda.
