After discussion the board moved, seconded and approved the amendment. The motion was approved by voice vote at the meeting.
The board also adopted Resolution No. 102526 proclaiming January 2026 as School Board Appreciation Month. Superintendent Diane Sverigian read the resolution language praising local board members' contributions to public education and formally proclaimed the month in the meeting record.
What happens next: The superintendent or designee is authorized to sign the amended agreement on behalf of the district; staff will coordinate the added governance workshops and continue work on governance handbook items referenced in the amendment.
