The Yucaipa‑Calimesa Joint Unified School District board reported three personnel actions taken in closed session and introduced the appointees at the public meeting.
The board announced the appointment of Heather Aguilar to Director of Teaching and Learning for the Educational Services Department on a motion by Board Member Cruz and a second by Clerk Miller; the board recorded a 5‑0 vote to confirm the appointment. Aguilar thanked the board and described her longtime service to the district and commitment to supporting students and staff.
The board also announced the appointment of Kim Caracotto as assistant principal at Mesa View Middle School; the motion was made by Board Member Bannister and the appointment was confirmed with the board’s recorded affirmative votes.
