The presenter noted the resolution had been on a prior regular meeting agenda but had not been identified as an action item at that time.
Chair (speaker) said Superintendent Viviano recommended approval of the resolution and asked the board for questions before calling for a motion. After a motion and second, the board took a roll call vote. The clerk read the recorded votes: "Abu Chavez, aye; Denny Young, aye; Linda Hudson, aye." The chair then stated there were no opposals and the motion carried, approving the resolution.
The resolution calls for the election to be held in the Moriarty-Edgewood School District, in the counties of Torrance, Bernalillo and Santa Fe, State of New Mexico, at the regular local election on Nov. 4, 2025. Following the vote, a committee member moved to adjourn the special meeting; the motion was seconded and approved and the meeting was adjourned.
