District staff responded that Visa charge detail and receipts are available and that auditors review itemizations annually. “For the Visa, we can do maybe a summary in there,” a district finance representative said, adding that staff could attach more detailed descriptions or provide receipts on request.
Trustees also questioned several consent items: a Zoom licensing renewal, a one‑year Leading Educators literacy contract covering eight schools, and an overnight outdoor education request for Parkside Montessori. Trustee Ho urged the district to right‑size Zoom seats after the pandemic; technology staff said the district has already reduced license counts roughly in half and is negotiating further reductions while evaluating Google alternatives. On the Leading Educators engagement, staff described the plan as a one‑year sampling approach intended to gather data and inform future decisions.
