Permit 2025-003, for Will Diede to build a new cabin, was approved on a motion by Commissioner Vernon Straub and a second by Commissioner Matt Hager.
Permit BLD-2026-004, for Corey Roth to build a new pole barn, was approved and the commission moved to recommend approval of the related variance; Commissioner Matt Hager made the motion and Commissioner Barb Kraft seconded. For the utility permit, UTL-2026-001, the commission voted to approve the application from WRT to bore and run fiber optic cable to the Justin Theel residence and to recommend approval to the Grant County Commissioners; Bob Larson moved and Vernon Straub seconded that motion.
The minutes record that each motion "carried" and that "all were in favor" on every item; no votes against or abstentions are recorded. The commission set its next regular meeting for March 12, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. MST and adjourned at 10:19 a.m. MST.
