Fanwood council approves consent agenda, greenlights grant applications and library IT contract

At its Nov. 20 meeting the Fanwood Borough Council approved a consent agenda that bundled a series of resolutions covering contract amendments, budget adjustments, grant applications and personnel items.

Key items approved included authorization to apply for a New Jersey Department of Community Affairs American Rescue Plan firefighter grant (Res. referenced during the meeting as the ARP firefighter grant) for $75,000 toward turnout gear; an agreement to contract with JCT Solutions for IT infrastructure and hardwiring work at the library; transfer-authority for year-end budget adjustments (Res. 212); retroactive pay for nonunion employees (Res. 213); and an administrative amendment to several professional services contracts listed in the packet.

Council moved the consent agenda as presented after offering members time to pull items for separate discussion; no items were pulled and the full package passed on roll call.
