Romeoville holds public hearing on Normanton Road TIF amendment to add three parcels

The Village of Romeoville opened a public hearing Wednesday evening on a proposed amendment to the Normanton Road tax increment financing (TIF) district that would add three parcels on the village’s northwest side.
Redevelopment staff said the amendment would add parcels addressed 679 North Weber Road, 1290 West Normanton Road and 1300 West Normanton Road, each containing vacant commercial structures previously used as a Burger King, a 7-Eleven and a former Speedway car wash.
