At its Feb. 18 meeting the Manti City Council took several routine actions and recorded roll-call votes for a closed session.
The council voted to approve the minutes from the Feb. 4, 2026 meeting after staff noted late updates had been posted. Council member Mary Pipes moved to approve the minutes and the motion passed by voice vote.
On the meeting schedule, the council discussed options for the second March meeting (cancel or move) because some council members will attend a conference; Council moved to cancel the second March meeting and the motion passed.
Council approved paying and signing bills after adjournment; a motion was made and seconded and passed by voice vote.
Near the end of the regular session the mayor moved to take a closed session on sale/lease/purchase of property, pending litigation and personnel matters. Council member Jennifer Christiansen moved and Megan Johnson seconded; a roll-call vote was taken and each recorded affirmative votes to enter closed session.
No final property, litigation or personnel decisions were announced in open session.
