"Just allowing for the HOAs to have up to 7 flags in 1 location," said Antonio when summarizing the amendment.
Council members offered no substantive amendments and moved to approve the ordinance on second reading; the motion passed 5 to 0. The ordinance text includes standard severability and effective-date language; the clerk read the ordinance into the record earlier in the meeting.
The council indicated the change is intended to address specific HOA veteran memorial requests and does not broadly alter other sign code standards.
