The Cedarburg School Board on May 21 approved a slate of routine business covering contracts, fees, curriculum resources and personnel items, with most motions passing unanimously.
After receiving the Food Service annual report from Director of Business Services Kim Zabel and Superintendent Dr. Jeridon Clark, the board voted 7–0 to renew the 2025–26 Food Service annual contract (motion by Kate Erickson, seconded by Kate Noetzel). The board separately approved updated facility use fees and 2025–26 school fees, each by 7–0 votes.
The board also approved the district’s proposed Long‑Term Capital Improvement Plan and authorized a high‑density wireless access point purchase from Core BTS, both by 7–0 votes. An agreement for 2025–26 audiological services with Gateway Audiology LLC, the 2025–26 District Assessment and Testing Plan per Policy 2623, and the Education for Employment (E4E) Plan were all approved 7–0. The Multilingual Learner Plan and a set of CHS curriculum resources — HMH Into Literature for English 9–11 and the Interkultural German 1 textbook from Wayside Publishing — were likewise approved by unanimous votes.
Additional routine items approved included the CHS Envirothon Group’s international competition trip in July 2025, proposed revisions to the Professional Educator Employee Handbook, and full‑time teacher contract renewals for 2025–26. The minutes record no public comment during the meeting; the board adjourned at 8:01 p.m.
One consent item earlier in the meeting, the Budget and Finance Report, passed on a 5–2 vote with Ms. Kincaide and Ms. Erickson recorded as voting no; other consent items passed unanimously.
