Cedarburg School District committee names chair, approves budgets, insurance renewals and personnel changes

Kate Noetzel, a committee member, was nominated and elected Personnel & Finance Committee Chair in a 2–1 vote after Laura Stroebel moved to nominate her and Kate Erickson voted no. The nomination came early in the meeting and established the committee’s leadership for upcoming agenda items.
Kim Zabel, the district’s director of business services, presented several budget and insurance items. The committee approved revisions to the 2024–25 budget and unanimously approved the district’s 2025–26 general insurance renewals; both measures will be forwarded to the full Board for final action.
