The Village of Maywood Board of Trustees on March 2, 2021 adopted the Fiscal Year 2021–22 operating budget (May 1, 2021–April 30, 2022) and approved a series of grants, vendor payments and a public-works labor agreement in votes that were unanimous.
The budget ordinance passed after a public hearing and a presentation by Director of Finance Lanya Satchell. Mayor Edwenna Perkins presided over the meeting. Village Manager Willie Norfleet read the public hearing notice and no members of the public spoke on the budget during the hearing.
